God is good all the time and I am so thankful!!
I hope to win and add this to my collection of uplifting music for those days when I need a boost and a reminder of God's Love.
God bless you too Angie. You're a God send! :)
Thanks for the giveaway.
Awesome!
Also, randomly one day my internet was messing up but instead of causing a lot of frustration it brought about the most beautiful "accident".....I was trying to open Bring the Rain and the internet opened a new tab with Bring the Rain again...so 2 tabs with Bring the Rain right after the other and All that I Can Say started playing in a round as it was on both tabs and slightly behind each other...it was the absolute most beautiful thing and it gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. Random story, but thanks so much for your blog Angie!!! : )

I'm on bedrest (been for 13 weeks, 5 weeks in the hospital) so I think I should win since I can't go out and buy it...LOL!

My husband would love me forever if I won a DCB CD. Well, technically he probably will anyway (or else he will be subject to severe pain). But enough about all that nonsense.
Just pick me.
Mmkay, thanks.
Thanks Angie for the opportunity to have some of his music!
Hope to be listening soon :)
Jennifer
Thank you for the opportunity....love his music...
BTW...please let Selah...know that their new CD ROCKS!

What a fun giveaway. I'm in! His music is the backdrop to my life at the moment.
Maybe I'll win this time. I never win anything.

I agree they are an AWESOME band!!
I went into iTunes and bought "All That I Can Say" the same day you posted about it.
Love it and DCB.
Thanks, Erin
I just love your heart Angie. I feel blessed to 'know' you and read you everyday.
Have a Blessed evening,
Dawn
I don't have one of their CD's and would love to have one!!!! I have heard a few of their songs and love them, but don't have enough "disposable" income to be able to buy much music right now...
Thanks so much!
Heather
Would love to win one of these!
What deoderant are you using now? I need to know.
=]
She got me all of the then-available cds for a graduation gift and I haven't stopped listening yet. And I went to my FIRST EVER concert to see DC*B at our local university last year as a late anniversary gift from my husband and to us - we had a blast!
And when I was on chemo-type medications to attempt to thwart the dasterdly deeds of Hepatitis C, I not only listened to DC*B A LOT but also found out that he and I used the same.hair product (my hair was cut pixie-cut short because of my sensitive skin). My aforementioned friend got to meet him and evidently they used the same hair goop and I was using the same stuff as her....and him. It was a very very happy day.
So in short, after my rambling, I would LOVE to get this CD. My husband would love it too so that I would FINALLY stop talking about it :)
I am gearing up for an i-tunes fest. My music shopping list is getting long...waiting 'till payday to let loose!
Love to you today. :-)
I hope I win! :)
Oh, and I would love to win!
I also waited in a long long line with sweating armpits to meet them, only to have my camera die when it came time to take a picture! Embarrassing! But some very nice people took my picture, gave me their email address, and all was well. Most importantly, David and the rest of the band were as nice and sweet as their music is great!
I am so excited about "All I Can Say", I used to pull up your blog whether you had a new post or not just so I could listen to that song over and over, then I figured out the whole "playlist" thing...

I loved the story about David Crowder's letter to you and your sweaty armpits. Hilarious!

I would love to win one of these CD's so I can listen while I edit photos and design blog book pages. It gets pretty lonely in my office all by my lonesome.
I'm excited! xoxo
While I'm at it, for some reason everytime I ckick on your blog now, it will play 2 songs at once...either two of the same song or two different ones. Not sure what to do about it, wondering if its just me and my crazy computer or what?

Mandy
DCB, thanks for offering this. I love your blog and your heart.
I have been reading your blog for lomg over a year now and I am inspired by your story. Im a junior nursing major at a very tiny school in West Virginia and I wanted to share this because the awesomeness of God just takes my breath away. I wanted to participate in your book club but really did not have the money at the time to afford the book. I figured reading the blog posts and watching the videos would be good enough! Just last night I was talking with a good friend of mine and from across the room I spotted a copy of Crazy Love on his bookshelf. The cool thing is that I had asked him if he had the book and said he did but could not find it. We could not believe it! PRAISE GOD! I'm excited to start reading!
Have a great day!
But really, I would LOVE to win that CD!
Thanks again :)
Hope your having the most wonderful day!!
Julie
I would feel blessed to win a CD from one of your favorite groups!
Thanks so very much!
The things you write about David's music ministering to you through your darkest hours are exactly how I feel about Selah's music. There music has also been part of my worship time in my greatest
moments of my life. So, that is how I was led to your blog just a couple months after your first post.
God's continued blessings on your ministry to all the strong and weak in Christ and maybe even some people who are still seeking to fill that empty part of their lives. God loves us all the same-he said he has no partiality. It depends on the moment when we are strong or weak in our faith, but your encouragement is truly a gift from God.
Debbie
Two years ago darkness overcame me. The pain of not being able to have a child of my own and my Mother fighting cancer just became too much.
"All That I Can Say" is healing to me now. Two years ago I had nothing to say and felt empty inside. I felt alone. I was exhausted. I was ashamed I had nothing to give. I was ashamed for feeling mad at God.
Even after the blessings He has poured over me since then, I still felt ashamed. I felt ashamed until I logged on to your blog and heard "All That I Can Say"
I heard God speak to me through that song and tell me that it was okay because I brought everything I had before Him. And it was enough.
He never left me. He was always there all along. Crying with me.
Now he rejoices with me!
So, to get to the point, I would LOVE to receive the CD.
Thanks for the song and thanks for your blog! They are both truly inspirational!!
Blessings, Kathy K.
I would love to get the David Crowder Band CD!!

That is so awesome that he wrote you, by the way.
And just for the record, when I met your husband after his concert, my armpits were dry! Go Dove Deodorant. : )
God Bless You!!!
can I have it????
Oh Angie, they're just my favorite.
Thanks for sharing so many of your moments with us
Even if I don't win, I can't wait to listen to this CD. Less than 590
minutes! Woohoo!!
Now... to my actual comment? I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy the way you write. I truly believe the best way to write things like this is how you would say it if we were sitting in a room with you. You do that oh so well and whenever I read your posts I feel like I'm sitting across a table from you, having coffee while you tell a story... It is a good feeling. Thanks for making me smile today!
Blessings.

And I hope you can read this font, because I can't. It is microscopic.

Angie, thanks for all you do, say and expose here on your blog. Exposing your real self is the best thing you or I can do in this world. People need to know that us believers are real just like they are... and we struggle just like they do... because we are all interconnected. We believers, just have HOPE... and they can have it too!

Hey Angie, my heart is hurting for a family in Tennessee. I know you are a CRAZY BUSY WOMAN!!! BUT PLEEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE if you have time to read this
http://houseofcollinsworth.blogspot.com/2009/09...
Since you are a resident of Tennessee, you can sign the petition.... http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/recognize-life...
She's a new blog friend of mine (since I lost Noah) named Danielle Finchum and she has a very similar story to yours with Audrey. Her son lived for 2 minutes, but the state of Tennessee does not recognize his life. They are saying he was stillborn and there is nothing the doctor can do about it because of the law in Tennessee. which states that a live birth is "...the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of human conception, irrespective of the duration of the pregnancy, that, after such expulsion or extraction, breathes or shows any other evidence of life, such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of voluntary muscles, whether or not the umbilical cord has been cut or the placenta is attached. (This next part was added not long ago)...Heartbeats shall be distinguished from transient cardiac contraction, and respirations shall be distinguished from fleeting respiratory efforts or gasps..."
Danielle is trying to get this changed to state what Maine's law says
"...the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of human conception, irrespective of the duration of the pregnancy, that, after such expulsion or extraction, breathes or shows any other evidence of life, such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of voluntary muscles, whether or not the umbilical cord has been cut or the placenta is attached. Each product of such a birth is considered live born and fully recognized as a human person under Maine (change to Tennessee) Law.”
Anyone else who reads this, please sign her petition! I am lucky enough in the state of Georgia to be able to obtain a birth certificate (CBRS) even though my son was stillborn. And it's because of two women (just like Danielle) who fought the state for my right to have a birth certificate for my son. Please help Danielle and the women of the state of Tennessee to have that same right!!!
Blessings,
Karla

joy to others even when you have endured so much. You definately have
a God ordained destiny.
I just saw your website in the booklet of the Selah CD, and was touched by your story.
It is so special that you chose to make this journey, and certainly not in vain.
God bless,
Miranda
Your story and your faith helped me get through a very tough time in my grandson's life. I appreciate your honesty and openness. It made me feel more open and honest.
