Bring The Rain: You Have GOT to see this.

  • LBradner · 5 months ago
If we could all just sing our praises to God with such passion as this little girl, God would feel so loved by us. She is too cute. On another note, I have to say my computer is doing something funkcy and playing All I Can Say in double. Is it a new rendition or something that I am just getting? It sounds so amazing to hear David Crowder sing back up for himself. Wish I had a way to share it. A little blessing from God I guess. :)

If you go to the youtube page from which this video originates (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_VknTKQQhw&feat...) you can see the name of the poster of the video. If you click on the poster's name (http://www.youtube.com/user/jennzoe333) you bring up her user page, and from there you can email her. Perhaps you'd be able to contact the little girl and her family this way?

If you do get in touch with them - come back and fill us in. This video is too, too precious, and hearing a bit more about the little girl would be fun!

    Blessings,

Oh that is just the cutest video. Thank you so much for posting it. I have a horrible headache today and while watching the video was the only time today I wasn't aware of the headache. Little Zoe sure did bless me.

The entire time I watched it I imagined Jesus smiling and watching it, too.

I loved the "lowest valley" parts, her intense facial expression, and the grandiose ending! That kid has stage presence in abundance!
  • Melissa Eriks Vis · 5 months ago
That was too stinkin' adorable. I think that little girl has a future in performing. She already knows how to give a good performance! I think Selah should invite her to a concert and have her perform with them.
  • Rachel · 5 months ago
Oh My Goodness that was awesome!! I loved when she'd say the "yeah"s after singing 'the lowest valley' WAY too cute!!
  • DaniellaSummers · 5 months ago
Don't we all have something to learn from this spirited girl! If I could only sing with that kind of heart, soul, and determination when leading worship.... No wonder He calls us to have the faith of a child, right?
  • Joy · 5 months ago
    Oh my, that is precious!!!!
I think little girlfriend has got it goin' on with that!!!! I can just see her standing up at church in front of people singing that. I don't even know the words to that song, but she had me dancing along.
    Too cute.
    Thanks for sharing.

  • anitraz · 5 months ago
What a cool idea to give to her nanny! My 2 and 4 year old love singing to the Selah hymns CD. They always ask me to put in that CD when we are in the car. I love listening to Nicol and Todd together! Selah has been such a blessing to us and has helped us soak God's word into our children! The lyrics have brought on questions and instead of me answering them, we have looked to the Bible together for answers and it has been an awesome way to teach them about what God says!

  • Jesslyn42 · 5 months ago
Oh my goodness!! That is absolutley precious and one of the most adorable things I have ever seen! Could she be any cuter and get any more into it?!? :) I love her power and down right soul that she brought to that song!!! WoW!! Amazing!

Thank you so much for sharing that with us, Ang!
  • karina11 · 5 months ago
    Ang,
I'm having trouble with your player lately. It plays the music 2 songs at a time just a second or two apart and I can't pause it. Don't know what's going on, but I don't have this problem on any other blogs. So, I can't mute it to watch the video. :(

    Am I the only one?
  • Camelia_Grace · 5 months ago
You're not the only one, Karina. I've also been having the same "double trouble" since the move to Disqus, but thought that because the problem was intermittent, it was due to my many recent computer-related difficulties. When "double trouble" does happen, I can pause the music twice to be able to listen to a clip (and the music does pause). Alternatively, I can pause it once to be able to listen to David sing.

  • florenceberti · 5 months ago
She is WORKING it!!! Goodness, gracious! I loved her arm movements, especially on "strength" and "day to day". I also loved how she wiggled and shook her head during the last line, then scratched her itch on her dress! Then did she say "Can we play now?" at the end? thanks for sharing this with us. I will return often to watch this. Hope to see you soon.

Hello Angie. My name is Jennifer and I am Zoe's mom. I received an email at youtube that directed me to your blog and I can't tell you how honored I am that you wrote about Zoë. Thursday is her 10th birthday and I can't think of a better gift than to simply have been recognized by the actual band she loves SO much! We actually saw Selah once at the Brooklyn Tabernacle a few years ago, and at the meet and greet afterwards, Zoë was too nervous to even go and speak to the band! You can email me at jennzoe333@yahoo.com. Again, thanks so much and God bless you.

I can't view the video at work because my internet blocks it out... stink. BUT I just wanted to tell you (and your husband) that I ADORE Selah's music. My favorite is the CD of old hymns. I'm a southern girl and I do love me some hymns! I'm pretty sure my almost two year old daughter loves Selah too because they sing her to sleep every night. I have played my two Selah CD's over and over for her since she was teeny tiny. Sometimes she tries to sing along with me as I rock and sing to her with the CD. It is by far my favorite part of the day! Thanks for providing great music!
And Angie, thank you for your transparency, sincerity, and honesty. You are truly an inspiration.

You can't teach that kind of talent!! This is amazing. What a great example Selah has been for Zoe! And what wonderful parents she has to teach her what is truely important: The Love of her God and Savior.

OH -- MY-- WORD!!!!! --They need to put that kid up on a stage --MANY stages for she would SURELY fire up the luke-warm and those afraid to move!(or as Todd says "the frozen chosen" :0) --Whew. I know many worship leaders --and congregations themselves-- that need to see this little child and how she pours her heart out. --Many ADULTS need to be convicted of how this child sings to her Savior, and her pureness of heart. Yes, I'm sure some adult helped and coached her a bit, BUT --you can't fake or coach the expressions of passion on her face or the other little nuiances like her kicking her little leg in getting herself rolling for the crescendo. --This kid's got SOUL! Wow. --To have no inhibitions like that....... how we would bless our Heavenly Father if we would all allow ourselves to worship like that, wouldn't we?? --As a singer for my Holy Father, I am in awe and in admiration of this little child. I think I need to take some lessons from her!

And I love her name! I named my little dog Zoe, with the same spelling. It means "life" in Greek and "many early Christians who used the name refered to their hopes of eternal life".

I sang that very song as a solo Sunday in our AM service. It always hits me that we never get used to the blood that was shed for us and what it truly means, so to hear it from that sweet baby, was so overwhelming to me, I just raised my hands and began to weep! Thank you to her family for sharing it with us.

    May God bless you.
